102 USSSA WORLD SERIES BERTHS WILL BE AWARDED!!! |
|
Welcome to the 2008 USSSA Super NIT...The Road To Disney! Over the years, this event has come to be known as "The Proverbial Who's Who of Competitive Baseball" and that's exactly what it is...year in and year out. For the fourth straight year, Atlanta has been chosen as home to the very first Super NIT east of the Rocky Mountains and just like the past three years, your Super NIT hosts and sponsors shall do everything possible to create a weekend of USSSA Baseball memories that players, coaches and family members will remember for a lifetime.
This year's Super NIT will be played at venues throughout McDonough, Hampton, Locust Grove, Stockbridge and Fayetteville in South Metro Atlanta, April 4 - 6, 2008. The exact assignments of what ages and classifications shall play at what venue(s) will not be determined until the time of scheduling (March 28, 2008) but all ages will play at multiple venues. All venue addresses will be included with the schedules.
Last year's Atlanta Super NIT drew 241 teams from twelve different states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. This year's expectation is an additional 50+ to 60+ teams nearing the 300 mark. With 102 total USSSA World Series berths at stake including 96 Major, AAA, AA, Coach Pitch, Kid Pitch and T-Ball berths and 6 Elite World Series berths to Disney, one each in the 9U - 14U Major divisions, anybody who's anybody will be here!!! |
